Our Amazing Board of Directors

mandlyn campbell

President

Mandlyn has an instinct always to support others. Her purpose in life is to help those who have found themselves embedded in the criminal justice system or recovering from substance abuse. As a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for DC Courts, she facilitated meetings and helped foster healthy relationships between parents and their children. She has served as a mentor and prayer partner for women at the Fairfax County Detention Center in partnership with the Good News Jail Ministry. It was her role at the detention center coupled with her own powerful life experiences, that inspired Mandlyn to establish her own non-profit organization, Welcome Home Outreach Ministries, Inc. As the President of this faith-based organization, she intends to serve in a humanitarian capacity by bridging the gap between reemerging citizens and their communities.

GLENN WILLIAMS

VICE PRESIDENT

Glenn Williams has over 30 years in the sales industry, offering athletic and corporate apparel, as well as promotional items. In addition, he is the Directory of the Youth Ministry at his local church and also a Director in the Television Production Ministry. He has been married for over 20 years and has a 17 year old senior in High School. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his family. Glenn’s biggest attribute is his humility.  He believes humility is not a weakness, however a sign of strength under control, and a proper appreciation of who we are in our relationship to the Lord. Humility is not thinking less of yourself, however thinking of yourself…...less. His mission every day in life  is to come in contact with people and have a positive impact on them by doing 3 things: teaching, leading, and serving with excellence.

DEBORAH BARKSDALE

Our foundation

“Remember ye, not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
